An excellent fit for a city break in Ogdensburg with decent value for money. Really enjoyed the gas-grill and picnic tables in the backyard overlooking the water. Make sure to ask for a river-view room!

We stayed in a double room for a couple of nights. The room was spotless and had some nice touches like a fridge, microwave, and a Keurig. Comfy beds! But I wish we could've scored a riverfront view—would've been icing on the cake. Also, just a heads up, the bathroom felt a bit cramped, but the clean space made up for it. All in all, it was a pretty chill vibe for a quick getaway.

The rustic charm of our two-room suite stood out, complete with a whirlpool tub and a cozy atmosphere that felt like a cabin retreat. While enjoying the sunset views by the river, we appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the well-manicured lawns. However, the lack of central air conditioning made the occasional warmth uncomfortable, especially for someone shorter like me, who struggled to adjust the air unit. Additionally, some noise from the nearby laundry room could be heard at times, which detracted from the tranquil experience we'd hoped for.

We had a fun stay with our 7 kids! The lawn was well-kept, and the pool by the river was a hit. We especially enjoyed lounging in the Adirondack chairs while watching the boats on the St Lawrence Seaway pass by.
My kids wished for a quieter laundry room, as it was a bit noisy.

Could improve accessibility for mobility-challenged seniors.

Couples escape worth every penny
The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed for our barbecue dinner including plates and firewood. Plus the sunset view while grilling was just very nice looks like a painting.
It wasn't the most affordable but the experience made it worth it.

missingWrote a review on Jun 30comfortable bedsconvenient amenitiesclean roomsoutdated furnishings
Rooms feature comfortable beds with a microwave, fridge, and an iron, giving a nice touch for convenience. The layout has the sink separate from the toilet area, allowing better use of space, while the additional blanket on the shelf is perfect for anyone who gets chilly at night.
The hotel looks outdated. the furnishings could really use an upgrade. Some rooms lack sufficient electric plugs, and the thermostat seemed to be non-functional. Plus, beware of the slippery tub that has unexpected temperature changes during showers—definitely something to watch out for. Getting to the back of the building involves navigating steep stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues.
